Training records
Updated 13 May 2026
The Training Records sub-view shows the courses, qualifications, and certifications logged against your profile. Find it inside the Profile tab — tap the Training button at the top, or navigate directly via ?view=training.
What you will see
- Completed courses — name, provider, and completion date for each record.
- Expiry dates — qualifications that need renewing (first aid, conflict management, CPC, etc.) show their expiry date and an indicator of how much time remains.
- Certificates — if your manager has uploaded a certificate document, you may be able to view it here.
Expiry reminders
TacDesk sends you a notification as an expiry date approaches. Do not wait for the reminder — check your training records periodically and plan renewals well in advance. Letting a first aid certificate lapse can affect your ability to work certain contracts.
If a course is missing
Training records are added by your manager or company administrator — this view is read-only for you. If a course you have completed is not showing:
- Send your certificate to your manager (email or message).
- Ask them to add it on the management side.
- Allow a day or two for it to appear after they have added it.
If it still has not appeared after that, follow up with your manager directly.
Why training records matter
- Compliance: your employer is required to hold records of your qualifications. Accurate records protect you and the company.
- Contract eligibility: some client contracts require specific certifications. Missing records can prevent you from being assigned to those shifts.
- Renewals: tracking expiry dates in one place means you will not be caught out by a lapsed certificate.
Tips
- Keep digital copies of your certificates (a photo on your phone is fine) so you can forward them to your manager quickly.
- If you complete CPD or voluntary training, let your manager know — they can add it to your profile, which may be useful for future contract assignments.
- Your SIA licence expiry is tracked separately on the main Profile page, not in Training Records.
