Your profile and SIA licence

Updated 13 May 2026

The Profile tab is where you manage your personal details and access account sub-views. Find it in the bottom navigation bar (the person icon).

What is on your profile

The default Profile view shows: your name, email address, phone number, address, emergency contact, profile photo, and SIA licence number and expiry date.

What you can edit yourself

  • Phone number — your direct contact number
  • Address — for payroll and emergency contact records
  • Emergency contact — name and number of your nominated emergency contact
  • Profile photo — tap your avatar to upload or replace your photo

After making changes, tap Save. Changes depending on your company's policy may require manager approval before taking effect.

What only your manager can change

  • Your role (Guard, Supervisor, etc.)
  • Your active status
  • Which sites or clients you are assigned to

Your SIA licence

Enter your SIA licence details so your employer can meet their compliance obligations:

  1. Scroll to the SIA Licence section of your profile.
  2. Enter your licence number exactly as it appears on your badge.
  3. Enter your licence expiry date.
  4. Tap Save.

TacDesk sends reminders before your licence expires so you have time to renew. Your manager also sees expiry warnings — an expired or missing licence on record can affect your shift assignments.

Profile sub-views

Three additional views are accessible from tabs or buttons within the Profile tab:

  • Training records (?view=training) — courses completed, certificates, and expiry dates. See the Training records article.
  • Kit (?view=kit) — equipment issued to you, serial numbers, and condition. See the Your kit and equipment article. Only available if your company has the Kit feature.
  • Clock history (?view=clock-history) — your recent clock in/out records and hours worked. See the Your clock history article.

Why keeping this up to date matters

Your SIA licence details and contact information feed into compliance checks and emergency procedures. An out-of-date phone number means management cannot reach you in an emergency. An expired licence on record can trigger automatic shift restrictions. A few minutes keeping this current saves headaches later.
