Account access paused

Updated 18 May 2026

Occasionally you may open TacDesk and see a full-screen message saying "Account access paused" instead of the usual hub. This is not a problem with your device or your personal account — it means access has been temporarily paused at the organisation level by your management team or TacDesk support.

What it means for you

  • Your account and all your data are completely safe — nothing has been deleted or lost.
  • You have not done anything wrong. The pause applies to everyone on your TacDesk site equally.
  • Logging out and back in will not change anything while the pause is in place.

What to do

  1. Contact your line manager or supervisor and let them know you are seeing the paused message.
  2. Wait for confirmation from your manager that access has been restored before trying to log in again.
  3. Once the pause is lifted, the hub will open normally — you do not need to reinstall the app or reset anything.

When access is restored

As soon as the issue is sorted at the organisation level, access resumes automatically. Refresh the page or reopen the app and you will be taken straight to your hub as normal. All your history, reports, and settings will be exactly as you left them.

Still seeing the message after your manager says it is resolved?

Try closing the app fully and reopening it, or doing a hard refresh in your browser (usually pull down to refresh on mobile, or Ctrl + Shift + R / Cmd + Shift + R on desktop). If it persists, let your manager know so they can check with TacDesk support.
